Community Park

725 Marshall StreetJefferson City, MO 65101 Google Map

Community Park is located centrally in Jefferson City near Lincoln University.  It is a small footprint of a park, but it sure packs a punch!  It is located on the Greenway Trail providing a great starting point for a bike ride or a jog. The facilities are open year-round, including restrooms (no diaper changing station), water fountains with bottle refill, two covered spaces complete with tables, chairs and a BBQ per side.

The Playground:

This is not your average playground and seems ideal for a more experienced park-goer, but there are plenty of things to challenge the younger playmates as well.  The playground includes a 30 foot rope climbing tower that leads to the tallest slide in Jefferson City, attached to a ropes course type play structure. There isn't a clear divide for toddler/big kid play, so be sure to participate in the exploring to make sure your younger children to ensure they learn the way! In addition to the tower and the attached ropes course type play structure, there is a nature scape play space with boulder, log, arch and other found in nature type climbers and an artificial hill to climb up with multiple slides to take you back down. For added thrills, there is also a zipline.

The Splash Park:
